LEARN THE TRIPLE ‘S’ CODE OF THESE TINY TEACHERS..
“Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. – PROVERBS 6: 6-8
Nature has always been the best teacher for those who spend time to listen to it. Every creature is special as it imparts a unique perspective to life. Our Creator has always liked to enable man see HIS goodness through the eyes of earth. Isn’t it wonderful to think that even a tiny creature like ‘ANT’ has lots of lessons to teach mankind? Yes, it’s just an insect of little strength, no ruler, no politics, no government, no rules, no leader and yet it amazes us by the way it progresses and prospers. Let’s see what our tiny teachers have got to teach us today!
‘All good work is done the way ants do things: Little by little.’
The Book of Proverbs, written by one of the richest and wisest man on earth, King Solomon holds treasures of wisdom for all who wants to accept it in their lives. In these few verses, he tries to help us realize the truth that being sluggard won’t help to get success in our life! We all might feel lazy at some point of time, but scripture clearly says that a habitually lazy person invites unnecessary failures into his/her life. let’s quickly understand the three important characteristics of our tiny teachers, which when practiced can yield better results in all spheres of one’s life. They are:
- SELF-CONSCIOUS. Do you always require someone to keep reminding you about the right thing to do? Ants have no commander to warn about seasons and management of resources, still they are self-conscious about what should be done in due seasons. That’s indeed a surprise because even after having calendars, leaders and technology, we sometimes fail to take the needful effort at the right time to attain success.
- SELF-TRAINED. How long are you able to persevere to practice goodness? Even without the guidance of any overseer, our tiny teachers are able to train themselves to practice endurance and hard work. They are always too focused on what lies ahead than what is left behind in the past. It’s really good to learn positive attitude from them. It’s also noticeable that ants don’t do things half-heartedly. With a strong will power and undivided focus, let’s march forward towards our goal in life.
- SELF-LESS. Are you worried just about yourself or do you happen to think of the welfare of others too? Unity has always been their strength. Be it rainy, summer or winter, ants always stick together with their kin. They prefer fulfilling collective responsibilities rather than meeting one ant’s needs. We ought to note and adopt it in our lives today. Being ‘selfless and responsible’ is what these tiny teachers exhibit and this is what our compassionate Creator expects from us today.
‘Courage isn’t always a lion’s roar…It’s also the silence of ant working patiently, persisting and never giving up! ‘When you prepare your minds to dislike being ‘habitually lazy’ and start to like being ‘habitually active’…God definitely blesses the work of your hands!
